beck180
I have heard that you can use a Xyron machine to run labels through to protect them from moisture and give them a more glossy appearance. Does this work good, anyone ever use those?
mystical_angel1219
These work well for the waterproofing. Its basically a cold process laminator. But they are thick after you laminate them through the machine. It would not be easy to get the corners to adhere to glass well. Alot of B&B peeps use these for shower gels and scrubs. The refills can be expensive. Here is a link for you for the most cost effect refills and machines.http://www.stickermaker.com/index.html
beck180
I had suspected that when they said laminate they would be thick. Thanks for the advice, you have answered my question.
beaglady
I use my xyron to laminate labels for sugar scrubs. If you laminate both sides, the sticky stuff won't stick to the laminate. If you don't lamiante bith sides, water can get in. I haven't had any trouble with corners lifting on curved surfaces, but I've heard that others have.Diane W
