Jorie
I am thinking of creating my own blend for my pillars and I have a few questions. First, my local supplier has two soy pillar waxes, the cheaper of the two says that it needs palm steric, would this still be necessary if I am adding to a pillar preblend that already has some in it? Second, is there a way to determine at what temp it can be poured at or is it just trial and error? Finally, since it is soy they are going to need to be cured, so how do I cure a pillar? Do I simply leave it alone for a week or two or do I need to put them in an airtight container, and if I need to contain, do all candles need to be the same scent in the container? Jorie
perhaps this should be moved to the veggie wax board.
