First attempts at Marble Pillars.

Those are great. I tried a few marbled candles this week, and didn't even come close to the marble look. I followed the instructions from this site also. Wonder what you did differently. Hmmm...

At the bottom of page 2 of this thread is a description of what I did. I found these fairly easy, but I am only new to this forum, not new to candle making. I have been self employed full time for 9 years, and made candles for years before that. I saw your first picture earlier and you are on the right track, keep going. Not everything will work out the first time, and maybe not even the 20th time. The more you try the more you will learn. I bet you will find most of the members here have made thousands and thousands of candles.

I think they are beautiful and I would be proud to own one ~are they scented?? I just have to learn this techique.

The scents from left to right are: Pink Sugar, Lemon Pound Cake and Salty Sea Air. Give this a try Sue Ann, a new challenge is fun.
