Trae
Try cutting some slits on the sides to help pull back the mold some while your taking it out. You can always hold it together with rubber bands while pouring.
ajl
Thanks for the suggestion. Do you cut it with a regular sharp knife?
Connie
Is this something you are going to wick and plan on burning? If not you can use embed wax. Its alot harder and sets up quicker. Would require differant testing if you are going to burn. Just a thought.
candlesprite7
I've used a regular really sharp knife cutting rubber molds before, works well!
ajl
Thanks for the suggestions.Connie, I don't think it would get burned as I bought it to make something for my mum, she loves pigs, and I don't think she would burn it.
darlascandles
I've also had luck with taking things out while still a LITTLE warm.......(if you don't want to cut the mold)......but timing is everything with this method.....I have pulled many heads off, and squished many more!! lol
