tangerine
I would like to make some liquid soap using a pre-made base and just add FO to it. What's the best way to add FO to a small amount of liquid soap base for testing? I read a suggestion somewhere of putting the amount of base you need in a plastic bag, add the FO and knead. How about for a whole gallon? Do you measure the FO by volume or weight? Thanks!
dixylight
I ordered some products and should get them tomorrow...UPS guy woke me up the morning...but didn't make it to the door in time. I have heard great things about them and will let you know my results. I plan on scenting the shampoo base concentrate. I think you could scent the bath gel similar to the amount you would use in lotion...just a guess. In lotion I used about 30-40 drops f/o in 8 oz. of the BCN lotion base. They suggest the same in their gel....the following is not BCN but I would think you could scent it similar. The most accurate way would be to contact this company themselves to be safe in measuring. The following shampoo recipe gives the amount of f/o or essential oils for it so I will be safe. I didn't order the bath gel tho.
