?? about wicking

Recommended Posts

Has anyone made candles in wide mouth wine glasses? I use j-50 and zinc wicks and was hoping for some input on a starting point for testing wicks? Since wine glasses are thinner should I use a smaller wick so as to not cause them to shatter?

any and all help would be appreciated:wink2:

Thanks,

Yvonne

How wide is the mouth of the glass (in inches). The diameter of a jar is a good starting place for determining wick size. Also, try doing a search on here, since this may have come up before. I've never filled wine glasses before, so hopefully someone else will chime in too :)
