MichelleOH
What are you mixing with it? i use cyclomethicone. For room/linen spray I use95% cyclomethicone5% FO
Crafty1
i do somewhat the same measurements, maybe a little less or more depending on the FO's strength.
Michi
Ok, so for the math impaired (in high school I flunked PRE-Algebra TWICE ) that would be 7oz. cyclomethicone and 1oz. FO??
Beth-VT
no Michi....your math (lol) would be the equivalant of 12.5%. For an 8oz. container using Michelle's %'s, it would be:95% Cyclo = 7.6 oz 5% Fragrance Oil = .4oz.
Scent Cellar
I think BCN's directions on cyclomethicone say about a 1:6 ratio and that is what I have been using. That would be 1 oz f/o to 6 oz cyclo .... Does anyone use this ratio? Wondering if I have been using too much f/o ...it smells great !! prairieannie
YIKES a 1:6 ratio sounds really high to me. Sounds like that would be some pricey stuff to make!
Beth-VT
It really depends on the oil itself. Some are weak and may require a higher percentage....some won't blend completely at higher percentages. My Very Vanilla won't blend AT ALL .I have a couple that are knock your socks off strong at 10% (9:1) , so you'll have to test each oil.
