YooperCandles
I have been asked to make some candles for a gift shop in a nearby tourist area. They asked that the scents have something to do with the area: Lake Fanny Hooe, Fort Wilkins, and others. My main problem is that they really want candles that smell like thimbleberries and I cannot find anywhere with Thimbleberry fo. For those of you who dont know what a thimbleberry is, Ive attached a pic.If someone knows who carries a thimbleberry scent or how to mix one, please let me know. Thanks a bunch ~ Pam in Upper Michigan

Kaybee23
Those look like raspberries to me. Do they taste at all like raspberries?
YooperCandles
Thimbleberries are somewhat like raspberries but definately are different......if that makes any sense...lol.Thimbleberries are drier and have a different flavor, but they do resemble eachother somewhat. Sorry, its hard to explain. Anyone else who has had thimbleberries please help me out here describiing them.Pam in Upper Michigan
dandelion garden
I just did a search & read a couple places that the resin smells a little like cedarwood?Maybe you could just use a general berry scent/blend and mix a little cedarwood FO or EO in it.I'm anxious to see how you do. Keep us posted!
