latch
for cphp can you pour in long mold, and cut it or does it have to be ind. molds like in the turtorial?
eugenia
You can put it in a log mold. It works really well if you pile it up over the top, leave uncovered, and slice off the rough top with a sharp knife after 24 hrs.
TexasBrat
slice off the rough top with a sharp knife after 24 hrs.I hadn't thought of cutting the top off. I like the way it has the rough looking tops though. Do you cut the top off while it is in the mold or take it out and then cut it off? sad72
I love the color E!!I've never done the log molds with CPHP but...you can unmold, cut the bars and then cut the rough stuff off.Edited to add: I too like the rough tops (which ends up being the bottom of bar when done)...that's part of the reason I like HP soap!!...but it's just my personal preference. eugenia
I slice the top off while still in the mold. I like bright colors. :smiley2: e
