CathyinME
Hello! I need to make some tealights to go with some snowmen holders I picked up for next holiday season but I have no idea what to do with the wick!! Do I use a wick tab?? If I don't, won't the wick fall over when it is lit? Cathy~*~
sbrauer
I personally use the wick tabs for safety reasons!!Shelley
MichelleOH
Hi. Yes you will need a wick tab. Pour the wax in your tealight cups then insert tabbed wick into the cup whe wax is starting to set up. hth:)
OutlandishLady
Definitely use a wick tab. Personally I use the old glue gun to stick the tab to the tealight container. Drifting wicks make me nervous.......
gerrie
Yes, you do need a wick tab, but if you get the 15mm ones they will sit in the small circle at the bottom of the tealight cup and you really don't have to use a stickum on the tab. The tab will hold the wick up. I know many still glue it down, but I've made these for 6 years and never had one wick "float" away on me. It's really your call though, which way you want to do it.
