Mei-Mei
Can someone give me some tips on how to pour blended layers? I'm getting either two distinct layers or the two colors mixed together. Is there a 'pour point' I should be looking for on the second layer (i.e. 10 degrees above MP)? Or is it something I just have to 'eye'?TIA. AngelaVA
Okay, I pour the next layer a little hotter than the first, but not too much or they will blend together. Also, I wait until the bottom layer has formed a "skin" on it, but hasn't set up all the way. Then it won't blend the layers and the bottom layer hasn't had time to fully pull away from the glass. Hope this helps.
LRC06301983
and pour soft. run it down the side of the jar if you have to really really slowly that way it doesn't break the surface tension of the first layer that has formed a "skin" as Angela said.
