Carol M
Does anyone pour this wax/jar combo and, if so, could I get some wicking advice? I just finished burning a tester using HTP 126 and it burned to the bottom, but left a thin shell on the sides, and the flame got very small a few times. I hesitate to step up to a 1212 because it's such a torch, but I guess that's the logical thing, unless maybe there is a wick in another series that others have had success with. TIA. angiebaby
I'm playing with palm wax right now as well. Wicking is definitely more challenging than with soy or soy blend waxes.I can't seem to get the sides to melt down either. But, maybe they aren't supposed to. I find it beautiful as the candle burns down because the crystals glow.
Carol M
The edges will melt down and you will have a sparkling, crystal-clear jar if the wicking is right; that's one thing I do like about this wax - no film. I get a perfect burn in most cases in an 8 oz jj with an HTP 105, but this is the first time I've tried it in the 8 oz square mason.
