Wolverine311 Posted August 21, 2019 Share Posted August 21, 2019 Hi Everyone, So I'm a new candle maker based out of Michigan, and am looking at my local wax options (as my quoted shipping costs from many other places are increasing the cost per candle significantly). The two that I have found are Southern Sensations for soy wax, and Wellington Fragrance for a soy blend wax. I know that the eternal question of soy vs soy blend is always asked on this forum, so I don't want to go too far down that path. We have tested pretty exclusively with GB464, and are getting a decent cold/hot throw. Southern Sensations seems like the go-to place in Michigan for soy wax. Finding soy-blend wax is a little trickier - the only supplier I found is Wellington Fragrance. My main question is in regards to this Wellington Fragrance Container Wax https://www.wellingtonfragrance.com/Well-Pour-Soy-Blend-Container-Wax-P1054.aspx . Has anyone used this before - and if so how have you liked it? Is the throw significantly better than pure soy? Thanks for any input!
