pamperme
I remember this one from the old board..I wrote it down..and played with #'s a bit..can't take credit for it. Flavored Body Paint8oz light corn syrup1 drop of food coloring (do not use much or it will stain skin and other things)Flavor to taste~ you can use the Lorann gourmet stuff from the grocery storeCinnamon 40 dropsorpeppermint 20 dropsYou could also add glycerin if you want it to warm up when you blow on it..but have not tried adding that yet..and don't know how much you would need to.EASY..and FUN! Indescent
I haven't tried this yet...I love my edible massage oil, but the recipe (for body paint) I had no matter how much I tweaked it just came out like ghetto baby food. It had corn starch and knox gelatin. Wasn't happy. I thought it was supposed to be more paste/pudding like? Not sure...someone clue me in. drcobane
Mine is a little loose mor like a baked bean with out beans and baconBut I find it drying to the skin.
Indescent
Is it thick? Is it opaque? The glycerin I don't mind...but this stuff was down right disgusting. LOL!!!
drcobane
Sort of like a runny yoke of an egg that was easy.it went on I used a skin color not food and used a watered down corn syrup 3 to 1 I believe 3 syrup to 1 water and then cut it for the gly. FLavoring I got and used is from a body supply the same flavoring for my lip balm Latte. It stays and looks good but dries the area out horribly, The warming effect is phenominal.BTW anyone have a honey dust reciepe
Indescent
Ooh Ooh I do!Now I am NOT a fan of KS honey dust...its disgusting to me.So I made this one:(My apologies in advance for hijacking)1/4 c Cornstarchfew drops of extract (I used strawberry and vanilla)Sift and let dry thoroughly. Add powdered sugar/honey to taste. Sift again.HTH
Indescent
Its been a long time since I've even been in the market for a body paint, so maybe I am expecting too much out of mine.
drcobane
The reciepe looks like the one by the one porn star in consistancy (refering to the paint) but the homemade one dries makes me sad for the fact I made 24 ounces in 24 shades for what it cost for 4 contianers in the store.Great thank you
Indescent
Aawww that sucks!!! Sorry about that.... let me pull out my other one (pardon the pun...that did sound very porn star-ish)My body paint calls for 1 packet of unflavored gelatin, 1/4 cup hot water (set aside); the second part calls for 1/2 c cornstarch and 1 3/4 c of hot water. Cook cornstarch on low heat until thickened, add gelatin mixture and add 1/4 c glycerin. Tint with food coloring and add extract.Might try it again...I was eager to use it one night so its possible that I might have messed it up

drcobane
LOL!!To be honest I never used EOs in it, the scent from the extract was great. But how long does it last? Because there is some staying power in sugars to perserve most for 4 to 5 months right? and extracts would get weak ?
