Juggy
Has anyone tried these. Have been testing and is a real hassle. Painted 1 with acrylic. 1 with watermix with acrylic and 1 plain. All of them not absorbing fo very well. Maybe i am doing something wrong :-(.
Guest OldGlory
I tried them several years ago and thought pretty much the same thing... not worth the effort. I used a water based paint, lightly coated the blanks and they curled up. Then I put them under a few books to flatten them out, waited a few days and painted them with FO. Waited again for them to dry. Finally I decided this was a product I didn't have time to fight with.
Juggy
I am going to return them and just buy the the colored ones. It's just way too time consuming. Thanks for the reply OldGlory!
Faerywren
I painted mine with liqiud candle dye. Edited November 6, 2013 by Faerywren
Juggy
I have the blanks working now to my satisfaction. I spray on liquid bath and body dye (the blanks are on a baking rack with foil underneath). I paint on the FO after dye is dried and it has absorbed very well. Gonna keep em! aviator girl
I'll have to try your suggestion about painting them. I picked up a pack for personal use. My husband asked me to make something for his car.
