Brat Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 Hi, I have a bag of Nature Wax V-1 and I am trying to wick them. I used about one ounce per pound of Creme de la Creme and a couple drops of coffee color. The 44-24-18 isn't enough wick for these votives, and I have no idea whatsoever what to try next... I have a sample pack from Lone Star with some LX, CD, ECO and HTP wicks. Any suggestions??? Budgie Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 You could try an Eco-4 or an HTP-62. I used to use the EcoSoya VB and that was pretty easy to wick. An Eco-2 and the 44-24-18-C worked well. I used a pillar blend before that and it was harder to wick. An HTP-62 and Eco-4 worked well with that. Then I got fed up with votives and stopped making them.
