  1. FaithfulScenter,

I'm sooo glad that you liked the Iced Oatmeal Cookies as I was the one who sold it to you:grin2:

Anyways, I would call Stacy and see if she has more on hand or will be reordering it in the future. I hope it will be one of the oils that she only brings around seasonally instead of discontinuing it.

It smells so good that my mouth starts to water when I'm burning a wax melt, lol!!!

  2. I've had success with a number of their oils myself. A few oils were putzers...but I've had that with most every company.[/quote

Same here. But I am noticing that I'm getting more misses than hits:(

  3. I felt the same way as you regarding the ECO's. But here's what I learned with them...I noticed that the longer my candles (GB464) had cured the more tame the flame was. A beautiful flame at that. As a result, I've even switched from using most of my CD's and returned to the ECO's. Give it a try!

  4. So funny you started this thread because I was thinking the same thing over the weekend. I know some of you say that you get a consistent "vanilla" or "nutty smell" in most scents, however I have found that I get a consistent "berry" scent in many oils that I use that have fruit in them. For example, I just finished testing CS Black Currant Tea and I swear I can't tell it apart from any old raspberry. Weird! I was expecting to have some great tea notes and I got none of that.

In regards to NG, they were my first supplier when I first started. I learned early on that the majority of their oils do pretty decent in B&B, but candles, not so much.

Peaks is still my go to and +1 on the blending.

  5. Hey All,

Does anyone by chance know of a dupe of WSP's Sands of Morocco fragrance oil?

I just adore it. I got it as my free sample but when I just went to purchase it on the site, I was shocked beyond belief to see they wanted $51.08/lb!!!!!:cry2:

I like it but not enough to break my friggin wallet! And this is why I'm always on the fence about this company. Ugghh!!!

  6. Hey everybody,

Well, I contacted the shop owner and diplomatically explained that I wouldn't be able to take her offer. I'm so relieved. It never felt right and I ALWAYS trust my instinct. However, all of your replies just help confirm my hesitancy.

Whoo...I just think I saved myself from a nightmare. But I'm still optimistic that something better will come along soon!:yay:

  7. Hi all,

Last week I got approached by a local business owner who wants to consign my body butter in her shop. She stated that they would take a 50/50 split :undecided and I would be able to set the retail price. FYI: This would be my first "brick and mortar" account.

Upon further inspection, I understand that their portion of the proceeds is way too high for a consignment sale. She also asked me for a tester and I told her that would be fine BUT she would need to purchase the tester at my cost. I thought that was fair but she was like, "oh, I've never had anyone ask that of me".

Anyways, I believe I may have to pass this account up. Any thoughts on how you would approach this matter. I meet with her in person on Thursday.

Just not feeling really good about this at all now.

    Thanks!
