first of all hello i am new and just found this site, and i am really excited! i have beenmaking candles 5 weeks and have so much to learn, and probobly always will! i am using soy wax and making clamshell tarts and wax dipped animals. the animals are turning out great, and i have got alot of compliments on the tarts but i am very self critical and want to do the best i can. i started out just heating my wax to 150, adding color and scent and then pouring. i wasnt getting the scent throw i wanted so then i started adding 1.5 oz per pound and thought everything was great. but some of them were not getting the scent throw iwanted so i asked my supplier and she told me i have to cook them 15-30 minutes to blend properly. im afraid this will cook out scent. basically, i needsimple tried and true suggestions on cooking my soy wax. i absolutely love doing this and honestly have sold a ton of them, and have received a ton of repeat customers. but i know that im not being consistent so my product simply cant be! please help, im losing my mind lol
