Hello Everyone, After reading your posts for months, I finally poured my first candle a week ago. Tonight, after much waiting, I lit it. Generally, I'm pretty pleased for my first candle and think this will be a great hobby. I'm using wooden wicks because I really love their look and the crackling. Unfortunately, the crackling was very, very quiet. However, the scent throw was good. CB Xcel medium wood wick 6% FO Snowdrops 2.5 x 3 over-sized votive container I'm thinking I may have overwicked by one size, as these photos were taken after an hour of burn time.
