  1. Hi all!

Just out of curiosity, how do you cure your candles with no lids? I've always just assumed lids were needed for curing (don't ask me why, I don't know :D ). Anywho...I made a candle yesterday that has no lid. I stuck some Press and Seal (you know, sorta like a waxy Saran Wrap) over the top. What do you guys do?? Just wondering :)

    Thanks!

  2. Thanks all :) And thank you Everito :) I've got the software installed on my computer and I do have the cord. It's just a matter of me getting off my duff and downloading the pics. I'm going to work on it today. I did make a candle out of the pumpkin and it came out ADORABLE! I double wicked it (pain in the butt), but I'm hoping it will burn nicely. I'll work on that pic! Thanks again!

  3. Hi all!

I stopped by the Dollar Tree this afternoon and they had the cutest little pumpkin "candy dishes". It's a little ceramic pumpkin jack-o-lantern, and it's open at the top. There are two little ghosts on each side of the pumpkin "holding" a handle (which I know would either have to be removed or something, it's metal). Adorable! The ceramic is glazed. I'm wondering if I could pour wax into these (I pour at about 160 or so)? It would make a very cute candle. Has anyone tried this? I'd take a picture, but since I'm still trying to figure out how in the world I get the pictures from my new camera onto the computer.....sorry :) I'll surf around and see if I can find a pic. The candles would just be for me, no selling, just thought they'd be cute Halloween decorations :) Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

  4. Hi all!

Okay, so every single time I try to look at ANYTHING on the Bittercreek North site...all of my internet explorer windows shut down (including the BCN site). WHY?? It's driving me nuts. Any suggestions from you computer gurus out there. It's the only site that does it. I can go to the BCS site with no problems. Very weird. Any help would be appreciated :) Thanks!

  5. Hi all :)

I'd like to rename Amish Harvest, but have racked my brain and can't come up with any solutions. Do any of you have a suggestion. I don't sell, I'm making some tarts for a friend and wanted to make a nice label for the tart so she'd know which scent was which (otherwise I don't bother renaming :). Here's the scent description from Peaks:

Sweet bakery notes laced with dried fruit and spice notes

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
