  1. Georgia...I paint the glassware with a glass paint that you bake in the oven for durability...so the candles are poured after.

What you can't see is that the second and third candles are painted on all four sides with a different flower.

thanks again for your compliments...I have a show this weekend ...hope to sell these!

  2. I posted my handpainted soy wax candles in the candle gallery....thought I would post some of my other glassware for you to have a look.

The first pic is my one of a kind girlfriend wineglasses which I will offer custom painting as well.

The second is my pansy design wineglasses, plate and decanter.

The third pic my martini set...the pitcher is much larger than it looks in the pic.

And of course cups and wineglasses for the red hatters.

  3. I had about 3 ounces of Peaks Pink Sugar left in a 16 ounce bottle. It had crystals in it almost like real sugar. The FO was purchased in March so it wasn't old. I needed to use it so I tried warming it up...they didn't melt...so I stirred the fo into the hot wax..the crystals still didn't dissolve...I ended up straining the hot wax to remove the crystals.

Anybody ever have this happen before? I have been making candles for 7 years and have never had crystals form in FO before.....just lucky or is this an unusual experience?

It is not a big deal but made me very curious.
