  1. Thank you so much for the dupe list Are the starred ones your favourite?
  2. UPDATE: I'm so excited!! I'm one short of my perfect 10 line up which includes (all from Daystar) Pink Kisses Liquid Crack Vanilla Rock n' Roll Fluffy Almond Icing Toffee Sugar Crunch Monkey Farts Coconut Island Fruit Sugar Water Stiletto Blonde If anyone has a little favourite smell they wanna swing my way then i'd love to hear it. I'm really happy with my line up except for the worry of a few fragrances smelling a like... Jessica x
  3. Hi I have tried SoS. They were just ok... however I have nothing to compare them to. In a batch of 10 fragrances I kept one which was lick me all over. What were you looking at in particular?
  4. Sorry to bump this old thread but I can't PM Yvelis so I have to ask on here. We seem to be in the same situation. I love fruity smells and want to keep my order all in DayStar, did you have any luck? If so what would you recommend? I'm in London, does this mean I can't have fragrances shipped that are below a certain flashpoint? Once again sorry for the bump. Jessica x
  5. Hehe half is good, I can deal with half. Do you notice either a positive or subtractive fragrance change with the coconut oil or do the original notes come out normal? I would love the dupe list please if you wouldn't mind sharing, thank you xD
  6. Wow lauramw71 that is exactly what i needed to know thank you xD I had oils and was using them straight out of the bottle with no cutting (that i know of) from SOS and it seemed to work and smell fine so wouldn't using the cocnut oil dilute the fragrance considerably? Also Day Star just says "skin safe" it doesn't give a percentage. How do you know what amount to use? Once again thank you for your patience.
  7. @Loreli I am VERY impressed with Day Star... they feel like the one!! Could you enlighten me on the process of cutting please, sorry to be a pain!
  8. lauramw7 Thanks a lot for the advice i'm gonna definitely check them out, I don't think i'm ready to do my own mixing yet... Lorelei Aaaah I LOVE Lush I hope they do pre cut fragrances!
  9. Hi Candybee thank you so much for the recommendation, i'm looking for body oils but should my curiosity get the better of me (which i'm sure it will) I'll definitely have that in my wishlist xD
  10. Thank you so much Carol onlyfragrance looks like just what i'm looking for! I just wish i could sneak some of the fragrances from JS over there :tiptoe: hehe. Did sweet almond oil add and fragrant properties? Is there a thread or forum I could learn more from, I don't want to keep asking questions that i'm sure are nagging to professionals like yourselves. Jessica x
  11. Oh ok.... *sigh* I was just getting drawn in by Just Scents!! Right it has to be bath and body, got it! Well with the SoS 1oz bottles I recieved I just poured the oil staright into a roll on bottle. Is that not advisable?
  12. Thank you for the recommendation RWV I will definitely look into those :yay:However your comment leads me to believe that I have made a mistake or misunderstod what the purpose of oils are and would really love some clarification if you can offer it. What I want for my dorm friends are little cute roll on fragrance oils like these http://www.amazon.co.uk/MIYAGI-Designer-similar-MIYAKE-Perfume/dp/B004F6F0KK/ref=sr_1_3?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1317402754&sr=1-3 . Are these products from SoS, JS, Candle Source etc. the right oils? Jessica x
  13. thank you for your reply... SOS were the first supplier I ever tried so I just assumed all FOs were hit and miss. I have done some searching on here and I think I'm going to seek another company.
  14. Now i'm not so sure. What I want to make is alcahol free oil based roll on perfume. I was about to purchase oil from JS but after an email exchange It would seem that those aren't the type of oils I should be looking for. If that is correct then what type of oil/supplier is best suited to my needs?
  15. Hi guys, as I'm sure you are all aware christmas is coming up and I want to get together a line of fragrances for my dorm friends at university. This site has been so helpful and getting to know this world has been an amazing (and costly :rolleyes2) journey. I think i'm nearly there but I would love your opinion on my choices from SOS: Lick Me All Over http://www.saveonscents.com/product_info.php/products_id/527 Butt Naked http://www.saveonscents.com/product_info.php/products_id/437 Pink Sugar (type) http://www.saveonscents.com/product_info.php/products_id/1272 Burberry Touch (type) http://www.saveonscents.com/product_info.php/products_id/632 Issey Miyaki (type) http://www.saveonscents.com/product_info.php/products_id/652 I've had samples of all the above and love them however I might consider replacing either Issey or Touch with a better fragrance... As you can probably tell i've gone for young smells and i definitely want that to be a theme, however I feel like i'm missing a vanilla ]= If you have any tips I would be delighted to hear them. I'm a completely open book. Missioin First Post: Complete Jessica x
