Thanks Shar! If it smells similar to Tennessee's I just may get some.
I was impressed with the oob strength of the scent as well. I had plenty redwood cedar on hand or would have purchased. I like FB's dupe too and usually buy from them during sales and they have free shipping if you spend$100. I wish Flaming had sales other than new introductory fragrances.

I've never tried tea and cakes from FB. Thanks for recommending mint choc chip- will keep in mind.

Ive always thought Peak 's Fruit Slices smelled very similar to Volcano but never tried Flamings.
I like Fragrance buddy's volcano dupe best, but running low and seems they are not offering a Labor Day sale like previous years:( I have some fruit slices from Tennessee Candles in the closet and just compared the two and quite similar to my nose.

I like North Pole, Alpine Cheer, Irish Cream Coffee, pumpkin apple butter, Raw sugar mandarin, Salted Caramel, Snicker Doodle is pretty good, sugared pralines, summer scoop, Tea and Cakes, Sweet strawberry, vanilla pumpkin marshmallow. I have samples of many others but have never put them in wax.
Hope this helps!
Belinda, would you consider Flaming's pumpkin apple butter to be interchangeable with NG's version? Thanks!

I like Baja Cactus Blossom for all priducts, Beautiful day for b& b ( light scent throw for me in wax), I recently bought sweet strawberry as was recommended- I like it in wax, beachwood, tobacco caramel.
I haven't purchased Flaming's Redwood and cedar before, but smelled of it when I was visiting their showroom before and in my opinion it smells similar to Tennessee Candles and so does Fragrance Buddy's version.

I only got samples of those during the sale. Aspen Winter is another that I poured but haven't tested yet. I've been sick with a cold so my sniffer is not working great, I just smelled the melt, pine and citrus notes mainly, medium scent strength.

I made wax melts this past week with elderflower & moss but haven't tested it yet. I'm just not crazy about the scent though. I did test sea grass and sand dunes and like it.

Wow, that' s a bunch of great looking soaps! I am so behind, but got 8 batches made earlier this week. 4 batches of OMH and some other restocks. I have come down with a cold, so my soaping marathon will have to wait.

It smells like sweet tarts candy to me. Berry tarts, fruity tarts, candy tarts, rainbow tarts.Idk, I'm not so good with names.

What you should just plan to do is sniff them all anyway
Yes indeed, and report back here and let us know which you liked the best

Well what are you waiting on?
Sheer Seduction might be worth a sniff too.
Cognac and Cubans is really smooth for a man's scent. Shouldn't be passed up.
Would agree on Christmas Cabin.
Narcissist but we're mixing it with a rose and a wisteria and a musk and calling it something else
Pheromones (don't worry it won't make you horny, but it is a nice scent)
Tahitian Amber ... (if you like warm and sultry ... just buy it.)
I remember trying Narcissist when NG first introduced the scent and didn't like it on it's own in soap, and it faded quite a bit. Wish I had a scratch n sniff to smell your blend, sound really nice!
I've started to buy Pheromones many times, lol.. Off to NG site to take a peak

Is Misbehavin' on your list?
I like this one too in all B & B products, but haven't tried in wax.

I just mixed up a little alcohol and peach sunset mica and painted the top one of my melts and it works, and dries fast.
-
That's Beautiful! it looks like cosmetic micas I use in soap and bath bombs. For bath bombs you can blend a little 91 rubbing alcohol and paint on the bath bombs. You might could try it on wax possibly, but I'm not sure.

Ive never tried Pillar of Bliss. For wax melts I used if I remember correctly about 3/4 of 135 (pillar wax) approx : 3/4 4630 and the rest a combo of 464 + palm wax
at that time I think I had a sample box of feather palm. Another summer type oil thats so good from WSP is Mango Sorbet - YUM ! Really good
BTW Ive also tried the granular tart mix from Flaming, its pretty good. I just used it alone didn't mix any other waxes. Of course some FO's lasted longer
but I don't think it had anything to do with the wax. Some oils are just stronger than others .
I think a good strong quality oil is the key. I like to blend other high melt point waxes with 4630.I have tried Flaming's problend 450 and 600 parasoy too, and liked those pretty good with the 4630. I like ky143 too! I still love to experiment with blends.. Last week I put 3 lbs ky143, 2 lbs 4630, and 1 lb. Pillar of bliss in the presto pot and one of the scents I used was snc birthday cake sample I had from AH/RA and was amazed that it lasted for 3 days non stop in my warmer! I got tired of smelling it and changed it out..
I Love Mango Sorbet from WSP too! It's expensive, but a must have for me so I always stock up on this one when they have a good sale.

Shar may I ask which wax you use for the wax melts ? Your right about the coconut cream pie - yummy ! Ive mixed that one with pineapple FO - really nice .
For those , I think I used 1/3 each of NG pillar of bliss, 4630, 4625 and they lasted a long time. Glad you liked it! What wax did you use? I bet it smelled so good blended with pineapple!

How exciting! Have a great time, and let us know which one you like!

Lovely soap, and I bet it smells wonderful!

Awesome soap! That mold sure makes a ton of soap! Great job!

Nice Happy soap:) I just got in Dragon's Blood from Fragrance Buddy yesterday and I think it is my new favorite version.

I too use polyolefin on a roll for my scalloped melts and for bar soap and bath bombs. I usually order mine on eBay.

Thanks Trappeur, I use a parasoy blend, and I don't think anyone will mind the discoloration as long as it throws like a champ!
