  1. Hi - I am doing my first craft fair in a couple of weeks and need advice as to how much I should have on hand to sell. It is a 2-day fair (sat/sun) 8-4p and I am told there is about 2500-3000 people go through in the 2-days. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Hi everybody, I'm freaking out and need help / advice. I am doing my first craft fair in a couple of weeks and need advice on the quantity of candles i should have on hand to sell. The fair is 2 days, Sat/Sun 8-4p and I'm told they get about 2500-3000 in the two days. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
  3. Did it. The oven does smell nice. The tops did smooth out, however I now have more spots of "shrinkage" on the container. I had trimmed the wicks to about 1 inch in case they did turn brown I could trim them again if needed. Did not have to - wicks were fine. I have a hi & lo setting for my broiler (go figure) so I had them under the Lo broiler for about 3 mins. Don't know if I would do it again or suggest to others only because I now have those areas were the wax was once adhered to the container and now it is not.
  4. It would I was thinking that it may be easy or more efficient to through a bunch ack in the oven at once. Thanks
  5. Has anyone ever put their finished containers under your broiler just to slightly melt the top to remove the cracks? If so, how does it effect the scent and adhesion to the container?
  6. Yes - I have asked all those questions to him (waiting his reply). What would you say a minimum should be? And do you have experience with what sells best?
  7. Honestly I'm not sure, I have an email to the club that is running it. I attended it last year as a spectator and if I remember correctly the weather was not great so therefore it was not crowded. It is a 2-day event.
  8. Hi everyone, I'm doing my first craft fair next month and honestly have no idea how many candles I should have on hand to sell. I have tealights up to a keepsake jar w/ lid - prices points from $5 - 15. Any advice on how many I should have of each container or price as well as number of scents I should offer. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks Tonya
