Are you absolutely sure you are adding enough fragrance oil. Are you using a scale to weigh the wax and FO?

It would be the 4 oz jars. I am making them for a baby shower with label printed to whatever they want on it. Also a ribbon on it.

It sounds like you pour right to the top. Do you have any problems with them cracking around the tops when removing from the mold?

I figure it costs me about .75 in materials to make one jar. I was thinking of charging $3.75 or 4. What would you pay for one? Be honest!!!

Do most if you do a second pour with this wax for votives?

How much spice market did you add to the pomegrante cider? Do you think Peaks clove would work with the pom cider?

I buy mine from onlinelabels.com. They have a program you can print your own. If you buy their lables you get to use their website for priniting for free.

NG has a country christmas

Christmas tree from NG is nice, but I think I prefer blue spruce from CS. The pumpkin streusel is from Candlewic.

I put the homespun around my jars. The only thing is it frays. And I use the brown kraft labels. I would love to see a pic of those jars.

You would divide 12 by 1.055 and get 11.37 Multiply 11.37 by 5.5% or .055 your tax and get .63 11.37+.63=12.00

Mine is 6% so I would divide by 1.06.

I poured one firestarter to see how it would go. I put sawdust in a dixie cup and added wax at about 160-170 and mixed them together. The wax seemed to leak through to the outside of the cup. How do you all make your firestarters and what do you think happened to mine????
