This is awesome information Stella!! Thank you!!
I burned it for an hour and the scent was all over the house and the hallway. I used 1 oz fragrance on 12 ounce soy wax. Hmm, the wick package only displays a number but I did order for 3-4 diameter. The only concern I have is that the wax does burn to one side of the container but leaves it untouched on a small piece of the other side of the container. Wick problem maybe?? I made two now with another kind of wick but want to cure the candles for a couple of days.

OMG, this is terrible! It's not your fault that your bank account got hacked. BTW, what security and protection do they have if people can hack accounts?? I hope you can get things resolved!
-
Thanks you so much...I'll check em out...

How do you know how long to cure them tho?? The one I'm burning now works really well with a nice scent. The only thing that I'm having is a little mushroom.

I love the colors of your candles. It is like the lavender or Moonlight Path!
-
I love the Buttered Rum! Very beautifully done!!

How big of a container are you guys talking about?? I have a 3 x 3.5 container and waited 16 hours before burning...
-
...post on the boards?? I can't even post on the Off -Topic forum??

I used soy wax this time and used a 3 x 3.5 container.
I used Yellow/Sunlight/Canary Color and a Cinnemon Bun Scent (1 0z)
Cold throw was slightly scented while the hot throw was more a nicely soft scent that could be smelled through the whole house and the hallway.

Can someone please give me the link to this online store?? I think I signed up on the wrong store...

I like to just have one of my bought Lilac scented candles burning for a little bit. It takes only 15 minutes and the whole home smells good like Lilac!

I bought some Soy Wax and wicks from Northstar Candle. I made one this morning and OMG, I love the Soy Wax! I used a 3 x 3.5 for try-outs and I'm going to use the candle tomorrow to see if the candle works and if it throws good smells!

I'm a complete sucker for the Lilac Candles. I love pretty much many flower scents but Lilac really stands out for me. Anyone else how loves the Lilac Scents??

I was reading through some articles and came across Vybar. It was said that adding Vybar works well for high scents. I only could find it for the Paraffin Wax. Does one use Vybar with Soy Wax too??

Thank you all so much for all the feedback. I will be reading and testing...and reading and testing...LOL
Iwantitgreen, I'm in Thief River Falls where they don't have anything...LOL

Sharon, I do understand where you are coming from. However, I was the one with the attitude of "I have it all figured out" while I didn't know squat about candle making...LOL I have check the places that you linked as well as CandleScience. The wax in itself it pretty reasonable, but it is the darn shipping rates that double the costs. I was told that the Ecosoya CB-135 is a good wax who throws good scents. I'm still looking into the wicks I need to use. I have decided to try small candles first just for tryouts! That way I can figure out the amount I need for colors and scents.

Which store is this??

I did find a store that I was looking into, could I please get some feedback on this store?? http://www.supplies4candles.com/pilot.asp

Thank you all so much for the information. Wow, I really overdid it thinking I had this all figured out...wow, what a dork I was...LOL Anyway, the wicking is indeed my problem. I looked at the links Steve gave me but not much in Minnesota so I'll have to go look in other states to see what they have. I did notice now that I have a regular big candle container with Parrafin Wax and two medium wicks and it only burns in the middle...Anyway, again thank you all so much for bursting my bubble...it felt good...LOL
