  1. Does anyone know where I can get Grandma's Zucchini Bread FO??? I have a candle I bought from a craft show before I started making my own and it is absolutely my favorite scent.
  2. Yes, I too would take an ugly candle w/great HT then a pretty one w/no HT. :smiley2: So you are happier with the 464?
  3. Does 464 really have a better HT then cb advanced? And do the par/soy mix such as 6006 really have a better HT then plain soy? any thoughts? I currently have the cb advanced and it is sooo picky when it comes to the FO.
  4. I really do like the CBA too, I bought a 10# bag so I have plenty left to play with. I really don't want to change, just want the HT to better. Are there any scents you have found work well with CBA?
  5. That is too funny. Only one week here and I am already addicted. I like your idea of low cost labor. :laugh2:I'll have to remember that one. lol.
  6. At first I was going to order the 464 but read about a few problems with it so I choose the advanced. Now I am learning too that there are issues with the HT. I didn't know that before I ordered it, I was just concerned about having the least amount of problems with frosting etc as a newbie. But it's actually pretty easy so I may try 415 or 464 next order and see how it compares. Have you ran into any issues using either?
  7. I have LX 16 for both my 4 oz and 8 oz jelly jars. I used the wick guide on CS and I haven't had any problem with the melt pool, etc. I have let them cure for about 48 hours. I'll try waiting longer to see if that helps with the HT. Other than that the candles look good, only a few candles with wet spots, but I am going to try preheating the jars and see. I upped the FO from 6% to 9% and haven't tested any with the higher 9% yet, but we'll see. Thanks.
  8. Hi everyone. I am a newbie to this and have been looking through the posts and you all are so helpful. Just trying to learn the lingo and follow along so far and it's been fun. I just received my order of CB Advanced and so far the finished candles are pretty good, other than the HT, but I may be immune to the smell by now lol. I ordered everything from CS because it was helpful and seemed easier the first time to get started. But I have seen some great links so far on where to find supplies. I am going to read through the older posts and do some more research...you guys are great...full of information. Can't wait to learn more, I am already addicted to candle making. :smiley2:
