was told bt a friend that loves candles and buys tons of them, my candle didnt have much of a scent throw, used axtec FO pomagrante and lavendar, gonna try another FO

I'm really surprised that a 44z wick worked perfect for you, I used 51z wicks in 6006 in 8 oz jj's with 1 oz p.p. and 1.50 oz p.p. of FO.
My JJs were not wide mouth, regular JJs

did it burn to the edges?
-
net weight? is that with or without the jar? just wondering

44-36-18 zinc wick worked perfect, gonna try a couple others, testing is gonna be never ending, thats what makes it fun...

I do love the creamy appearance of this wax, 6006, it was hard to check for scent cause I am in my little candle room with alot going on, tks for replies and advice, PU

wax pool of 2 inches, 2 1/2 hours, wick is about 1/8 of center, one way, going to let it cool and reburn a little later

after 45 minutes, have a wax pool of 1 1/2 inch, not looking good. Thought it would get to the edges by now. Jar is 2 1/2 inches wide, hope it makes it...later

I have tested with soy 464 and 444, now with 6006, like it so far. With that said I have poured a few candles, 8oz JJ, quilted. Going to test burn tomorrow, used HTP83 wicks. 1.2 and 1.4 oz FO to lb of wax. The thing that I find funny is, I get (3) 8oz candles out of a lb of wax. Sometimes the math is crazy. No repours, had to hit a couple with heat gun, but so far, looks great, nice and smooth.....will let you know tomorrow

how long do you wait to hit it with the heat gun?

A slab of wax won't fit in the flat rate boxes unless the suppliers cuts it up - and that would increase their labor costs.
I undestand that, I was just making a point about shipping, 100 wicks will fit in one though, call and see what shippings is on them, its $5.20 USPS, believe me I hate USPS, who else can lose 2 billion a quater and keep on going
-
suppliers need to use the USPS, if it fits it ships box, lol I sent a 5 lb object from Alabama to Washington state for 10.95 today, thats cross country
-
Shipping is gone completely out of sight. I was looking at a purchase with a vendor today, was gonna test some wax and pick up a few wicks. 10lb slab of wax and 100 wicks, 25.50 in shipping, just for grins I put in a order for 60 lb of wax. 26.50 shipping, what wrong with this picture or is it just me?
-
so much for that, I am in Wetumpka, lol
-
where in alabama are you? If close enough maybe we can share some shipping or combine orders for discounts...if you like that is
