16 oz mason jar, Peak sugar cookie, 1oz FO to 1lb wax, ECO8 wick, overwicked I guess cause it soots up the jar, great OOB and CT and HT. has burned about 24 hours over 3 days. should I go to a ECO2? any suggestions would be appreciated

Pam, my 6006 arrived in fine shape. It was well wrapped though.
Puter, how did the htp and eco's do in the 6006? Did you like them?
ECO8 works well with 2 of the FOs I used, the htp83 were overwicked for those 2 FOs. I have 6 more out for testing so far, trying to come up with 12..Thinking of mixing my own 50/50 since a new place opened up close by though.
-
I have used htp83 and the eco8 while testing with 6006
-
I am experimenting with them now, found 2 FOs so far and have 6 candles out for testing as I type.

wow 68 views and no comments, oh well

when you use a cookie cutter, do you just use it like a mold? TIA
-
J223 and gw464? mix at 66/34%, with new supplier opening up I can lower wax cost. Is it close enough to 70/30?
-
any word if they are open yet?
-
I had them laying around, they have the same size diameter, just shorter, from what I read, its all about the diameter, not the height, just wondering, thats why I ask, tks. from what I have read some FOs need alittle extra wicking, thast what I am testing for tks again

can I expect to get the same test results from a 4oz jj as from a 8oz jj? Trying to see what wick works best with some new FOs I just received. I had a problem with over wicking in a 8oz jj, and was interested in this as I had a case of 4oz's laying around. TIA

tks for the answer

according to another thread, he started the biz and then sold it. Now hes coming back to the biz. I live close, but i will have to pay sales tax, then fuel, I can almost order and have it shipped. But I would get it quicker

what FOs do you use from Aztec?
and Alabaster is going to open back up...soon
-
what wax, containers, and wicks are you using, just wondering
-
1 hour away and i go that alot anyway, sweet. If nothing else wax cost will be down for me, will try FOs though.....
-
first, I did pour the wax into a pour pot, I did pour ir like a beer also, I think I will seeif there is a nipple that will give me more of a stream instead of a splash, tks for the advice from everyone........thats why they call it testing I guess......
-
already poured the candles, When the wax came out of the presto, I let it hit the side of my pour pot as to not let it splash. I built the Presto pot that you put a ball valve in. If it happens again I will post a pic.
-
used a presto, went really smooth on the build, used it for first time tonite. Got alot of air in my 6006 wax. Guess I have to find some kind od a nipple. How do you get air bubbles out of a pot of wax? TIA

-
they were 2 different candles, tks for the tip, I will try the lavendar from them, I got the tip of using the HTP 83 from someone else here on the forum, again tks, figure I let it cure for about 7 days to be safe this time...
-
I ordered pomagrante from Peaks today and some HTP 83s to test, in a 8 oz JJ
