Lone Star Cinnamon Stick is what I use.

I use a old cookie sheet in the oven with 3 layers of paper towels. I do it at a low setting on heat.
-
I use Soy and I heard that some people are allergic to Paraffin. I also heard Soy burns cleaner.

I was wondering if I can get any information on using a cast aluminum double boiler. I think I have stainless steel.
-
I was wondering if anyone uses Twitter to attract people to see their web site I have heard of this and I have done it. I really did it on cyber Monday. Who else has done this. I go by candle_tammy on Twitter.

Layered candle I know you said you have a bunch of brown but that is what color I would choose for twigs may be layer with the colors brown and blue.

Does any one have a web site that they recommend for me to get another double boiler to melt my wax in. I am trying to give my husband some ideas for Christmas. I have 2 already but wanting another. We got them so long ago can't remember where we got them.

I use the Eco Pillar blend if that is what your asking I use the WR 2006 from Candle Wicks for my 3 inch wide pillars. If you have a pillar that is 3 1/2 inches wide I would try the WR 2008 wicks. All my pillar molds are made of metal and have holes already there so I just wick them and use a type of putty to hold the wick in place and try to keep the wax in the mold. ( I can not think of the proper name for this putty ) Good luck to you.

I use whatever wax I am using at the time to prime my wicks.

I know not to use crayola crayons to color candles cause to wick will not burn right. I was wondering if you can use them to color wickless candles ?
-
I wish you luck also. Go for it.

Breath. Just breath.

Great. They look so good.

I have only had issues with certain scents. I wish I could help. They will hopefully just get use to the smell. Good luck to you.

I started 4 years ago buying wicks and wax and fragrance and molds you name it. I have a site though os commerce. I will say this wax is tricky. Good luck to you and it is so important to test all your product.

I use the metal ones.

Just to tell everyone what I did. I let the wax cool and the water did separate from the wax. There might be some pockets of water. I just made them into votive candles for our private use at home. I still can not believe I did that. Live and learn.

Welcome and just have fun.

Thank you for your input again stupid on my part but hey I am aloud a stupid mistake it is my first one in a lot of years. I have just never done this.

I used the Ecosoya pillar blend wax and here is my issue, I put the wax in a mold and it started to leak out. Any who. I poured it into the water of the double boiler. Again stupid on my part. I have never had this situation be for. So what I am asking is. Can I salvage the wax or should I just throw it away. My husband said the wax might separate from the water. Has anyone ever encountered this situation ?

I would test everything I will say for fact I have had 2 tea lights catch fire I am not sure why but they did. I am just glad I caught them be for any major damage happened that is why it is so important never to leave any type of candle unattended.

I am trying to make it a business for me (making candles) I have a web site and I was recently hacked by probably some one that has to much time on their hands so I have been working hard trying to put all my product back on my site. I use Soy wax and my company name is greencountrycandles. I really hope I can make this endeavor into a full time career. I will say this candles are taking over one side of the living room. LOL
