Love my presto too..but still use pour pots for other tricks
I use the lid to keep the pot covered so no debris or dust, or anything else flies into my batch. I also keep the lid on it while it's not in use.

I had the same question recently..I contacted Peak, and they said their FO's have a shelf life of about 2 years..but they also said it's obvious when a FO is "bad".

Thank you!

How fun! The last one is my favorite!

I don't think taking one year to sell melts is long at all. It depends on your goals, how many FO's and waxes you want to test/mix/experiment with, how much time and money you have to develop and test your line, design your labels/packaging, get set up as a business, etc.
Exactly, but "in my opinion"..like I said, everyone does things differently

NatureWax C-3 and 3-6% with the paraffin I use

Sounds more like you're trying to market "Diamond Candles" to a forum of Chandlers! ~

I would first kindly send her an inquiry requesting your pictures to be removed from her site, immediately. If that doesn't work, I would go to her facebook and other social networking sites and make it known, publicly, that she is plagiarizing your work. I'd give her a heads up, that should be enough to get her to take them down, so you shouldn't have to go that route. I do think this would have better success than C&D, etc.
This craft is an art, artists must be creative! These people won't have satisfaction, or success now, or ever.

I use 6%, and some have said it was too strong! So I don't see how using 10% for me, would be beneficial in my applications.

Taking 1 year to sell melts..does seem long, in my opinion, however, everyone does things differently. I wouldn't let her bother you, maybe she spent 48 hours straight testing melts? It's possible. Who cares~ as long as we are developing a safe product.

thanks <3 hahaha I'm in Southern California! Today was very much an early Spring day!

Are you saying your wax is releasing from the votive glass once it's set? I don't make my votives that way, but it sounds like you would need to use a container blend maybe? Not sure exactly, sorry! I'm sure others will be able to chime in soon )

I recommend everyone look into a blog protector for their sites..definitely makes you less of a target for web content theft Plus, they are free~

That is absolutely insane...

Thank you..! lol the blue one is interesting..I really don't like it. But the purple one is prettier in person. Here's a better pic of the purple one.. I made it for my grandmother, who just got out of the hospital with pneumonia. It's scented with her favorite perfume, flowerbomb (thanks MW!) and her favorite colors

I agree! and I also weight my product prior to pouring

Horsescents, are you suggesting Peak's fragrance oils are not of premium quality?
