  1. its a PITA, but yeah- electric beater worked best for me because im a weakling and hand beating took awhile. So I let my wax slightly cool, just a little film on top, and then whip away! I found it helps to keep the pour pot in a warm (not hot) water bath. Helps it cool slower. you have to work SO fast once its at the right temp, that I've found its more work than its worth, lol!! I kinda wonder about making silicone molds of meringue or royal frosting, and just using those in the future instead of piping. Not as creative but less work and more consistent.

lol, I have silicone coming in the mail right now cause I give up on this mess. It's way to much work getting the wax to the perfect temp. and I usually can only get two done and it starts clumping and ugh what a mess.... I'm thinking of just making mine out of icing and molding them. Told hubby to get ready for this disaster haha

  2. It's ok.. I just pulled a REAL winner lol Was using the icing bag to attempt these cupcake tarts and when I went to clean it out NOT thinking how soft the bag would get.... WELL, hot water & wax flew up out the bag and all over my hands and wrists.... To say the least poor hubby thought I was dying with my yelling haha It's NICE and red... dumbazz that I am. No idea what I was thinking... I think since it's almost 1am I was to tired and just shouldn't have been doing it. Don't think it'll blister but wow weee is it stinging and burning :)

  3. Yes... now I want my bag NOW lol It won't hurt putting the sugar on them and in the tart melter will it? I didn't even think about it until after I put it on lol I was thinking glitter but not sure which or if either are actually safe.

  4. I've been wanting to attempt this but couldn't get my wax right. Finally today I got it but it blew out my icing bag lol Soooo had to glob it on :( I am going maybe Tues. to get a icing bag that won't blow out when I try to put my fancy icing on... see how it works :laugh2:

  5. I went to school to be a paralegal and although I'm not a lawyer/attorney there is NO way I'd sell a jar candle with someone else's logo on it. That's asking for trouble... Unless they were given permission. But, to out right use them and sell them no way!!!!... Chances are you wouldn't be bothered unless you became a big seller making big money off of their jars. But, who would want to take that chance?? NOT me.

Might as well just go get some yankee candle jars and reuse them while your at it :) haha

  6. I have to agree with with Noodle, she's most likely thinking a bit of money lost might be gained later on. Get her name and product out and maybe people will come back to buy more? If it works it's not a bad idea... If it doesn't... Which with ebay I'd say it won't. I have a good feeling most people would just go to the next cheapest person once her prices go up. At least that's my thoughts on it :)

  7. You have to have them on facebook for the 99 cent special. The scent is called Honeycomb and if you have a facebook account add them. There is a link on their page to the new scent :) This is what it says about it:

We smell thousands of fragrances as we formulate our line, so it's rare when we find one that catches us off guard. Our Honeycomb fragrance did just that - because it is so unique. Though maybe not for everyone, it has a beeswax earthiness and a strong honey note that makes it unlike anything else we carry. If you are after a truly unique and memorable fragrance, you've got to give it a try.

  8. I just got a couple new since I waited until they sold out of a lot and I was going to hold out for tonight until I see you enablers are already pouring! I guess I'll go turn up a melter and pour Banana Nut Bread, Jamaica Me Crazy, Fresh Bread and Buttercream.

How does the Buttercream smell? I wanted to get that one and forgot :laugh2:

  9. I just sniffed mine again, thinking my nose might have been so fried when I got it that I couldn't smell.

It's so NOT Honeysuckle it's not even in the same city, much less the same ball park. It is WAY NOT Honeysuckle.

I do like the smell, but no way would I sell it as Honeysuckle... People would think I was crazy :laugh2:

  10. lol yep they always gotta be around. Right now I have my setup by a window so I hope they will go for the window instead of my area (table) And it's usually the black and white kittie that has to always see what moms up to :smiley2:

Yep the favors for the shower were great :) But it's not that easy finding identical baby jars lol
