Hello for everybody!
Sorry for my english, I'm not american.
Sooo... I have a couple question for a guru of candlemaking:smiley2:
I tried make carved candles last spring and got a few problems:(
One and the biggest of them is melting of candle while pretty hot around. I mean hot summer... >86 F...
The candle under this temperature are loose the shape, very soft.
Now I'm trying to get right formula be experiments, but not successfull yet...
I'm mixing follow components:
- paraffin (130 and 140 F melt point)
- stearine (stearic acid)
- micro wax 180 F melt point
May be I have to add something else?
If somebody can suggest right proportion I'll be so much appreciated!!!
