Luci,
Check out page 4 of this thread. Butterfly has posted how she uses slsa.
Chris
What would the recommended amount of slsa and citric acid be for the recipe in post #1? I'm not so much into fizz, etc., but I am curious. I'd like to make some for myself. -
Maryann does divine soaping. Everything she does is gorgeous.

I have had the honor of testing or receiving some of soap diva's products.
If she says it was wonderful, I am sure it was even better than that.

You are so right, I have never done that. . . .yet
Chris
lol...well at least you did not put bath & body dye in your soy melts like I did the other day. -
Ohmigoodness,
You are a genius!!! I do have the pipettes. Why I didn't consider those drop makers is beyond me. Hmmm, can we say collectively, senior blonde moment.:undecided :undecided :embarasse
Chris
hmmmm...don't know..I use the pipettes and I uped it to 1.5ML(I think 45 drops equals 1ML) per batch(for some lighter scents)..so if you have something with ML's on it..You gotta get yourself some droppers. I could not live without mine.
-
Rachel,
I find myself without an eyedropper. Approx. how much is 15-20 drops?

Texa Brat,
In an earlier post I said I used sodium lactate. I saw your question about sls. Were you asking me. If so I used 1/2 oz per pound of oils.
Chris
How much sls did you use and when did you add it? I tried some in a batch and did not notice any difference.Congrats on a successful batch. :highfive:
-
Donna,
If you ever decide to CPHP again you might want to try sodium lactate. I used it in my last batch and was pleased with how fluid the cooked soap was. I have only used it once so far, but will continue to use it.

I scrolled down to see if the anise eo had been cut. Yes it is. I am amazed at how beautiful it is. Another work of art that is called soap.

I love the watermelon one. I am going to try that scent to but mine will be just a plain ole soap.
-
That is gorgeous. I love the shape of it too. I love OMH soap. :highfive:

I have been wanting to make this soap. The idea of making it in a tube because it makes it more convenient is fabulous. I guess in this case size does matter.
