I was wondering how can I get the colors of my candles to come out darker using Ecosoya CB Advanced Soy Wax and Dye Chips from CS . I've tried adding two chips of the same color but it doesn't seem to work.
TIA.

I believe the name of the tumblers are endessa Rocks. I found them in the Libbey B2B Catalog 2010.
Also Libbey has several treatments that can be applied to glass - like Satin Dip, Frosted, etc.

Try amplic.com or levinegifts.com
With Levine Gifts you must have a reseller ID or tax ID.

I have heard that you could use Coconut Oil. Just by Nature sells it as Coconut Oil 76.

Hi, Jack! Have you considered using your little bits to custom blend? I use those last bits in the bottle to try mixing fragrances; just use Q-tips and a closed jars, and keep a record or your recipe, e.g. 1 tip of lemon with 1 tip of lavender and see what happens in a closed jar for a couple days. Just sayin; cheap way to experiment! Mix up something you like, and test, test, test!
I never thought about that. Good idea. I will have to try.

What about putting a candelbra with scented candles in the fireplace. This will give a warm festive and romantic glow to a room.

I did find a forum here after I had posted - . The reviews were not so good. I think I will wait on the MicroSecure Card Reader and look for other options.

Hi Parker8,
What size mason jar did you use? If the mason jar was smaller than what you are used to working with then you probably used too much FO for that amount of wax.

Thanks for the responses,
For now, I decided to break each state up into zones using the USPS chart. Then I inputted into Paypal the cost by weight according to the zone that the state is in. The only thing is that Paypal only gives you limited amount of lines to add weight options.

Hi amyrose,
You can make up your own or keep the FO name. When using the FO some require you to put "Type" behind the name - especially if it is a duplication of a fragrance like BBW or Yankee type scents. There was even a discussion about some the common names are being trademarked. Just do some research on the names you choose. HTH

This is my first Fall/holiday season making candles. I chose what I thought was fall/holiday scents and they are not doing well. Some of my customers are asking for the scents I had for the summer - floral/fruity type scents. Luckily, I had some FO remaining and was able to fill those orders. I had wanted to change my scents to coincide with the season/holiday but I do not know if that is a good idea.
I was just wondering if any of you choose FO by the season or holidays coming up? For instance in the Fall choose warm, spicy types and in the Spring choose light floral/fruity type scents, etc.
Am I overthinking this?
TIA

For my "day job" I am a graphic/web designer. I see a few of you are struggling with understanding the use of Adobe programs. If you have specific issues/questions/concerns with design or layouts let me know and I will try to help out.

I currently have a propay account and I was thinking about getting the MicroSecure Card Reader. Does anyone have any experience with using this device? If so, what are the pros and cons.
TIA

From what I have heard is that Food grade paraffin wax produces less smoke than other paraffin and burns more slowly. Plus it is supposed to be stripped of all impurities and approved by the FDA. Please correct me if I am wrong.
