  1. True but he is not doing anything the rest of us are not already doing. I have manly scents too.. I also make them in tin cans but mine are rusty. I guess because of his age. Kuddos to him! Wonder where he gets the fo's from? I have never seen a pizza or cigar scent.

  2. It's funny because my friends on fb see others post about loving Monkey Farts and that starts others asking me for it. I really did not expect it to be such a great seller! I have not tried anything else from NG but will have to look and see. I can seriously go broke on FO's.

  3. Another test with Soy 464

    8 oz mason jar

    Melt at 185

    175 added fo

    145 poured

    62-52-18 C wick from Millcreek

    Happy FO from MillCreek

    1.5 oz fo

Lots of mushrooming - no scent. Photo

is 2 hours into burning. The jar was really hot.

Any suggestions on the hot throw?

I use 62-52-18 Cotton Wicks from KY Candle for my 8 oz jars too and I get minimal mushrooming. I have been thinking of wicking down because I hate it but it's not affected the burn of the candles so I am not really worried.

I really love my Soy 125 wax from KY.. I have found that it works well with every scent that I have added to it. The hot throw is amazing as is the cold.

    Good luck!

  4. I am making Ice Cream Cones (the cone is a glass container that I am filling with Ky Soy 125, the ice cream scoop on top is made from EcoSoya Pillar Blend. My problem is I have tried CD 12, 14 and 16 and they all melt the scoop over the side of the jar versus down the middle like I was told it would. Then once the scoop is melted down the container (cone) is supposed to burn evenly and that is only occurring with the CD 16's.

I guess my question is what type of wick would burn the scoop down the middle instead of down the sides but still allow the bottom to burn evenly down?

  5. I have been using Ky's Soy 125 for many years and love it but this year I had candles left over from last year and I noticed that some of them have frosting on top and on the sides now... is this normal with Soy or could it be specific to the wax I am using?

None of my candles frost after they set up so this is new for me.
