I know I'm not in the right place but I need some help with soap making. I am trying to test my soap for a ph balance.I'm using Phenolphthalein. I was told that it should turn pink is this correct. everything I have read says that it should stay clear. Can anyone clear this up. When I tested my soap after 12 hours the drop that I put on the soap was clear. Maybe I'm not doing it right. HELP Liz
