I am new to the cp soap and have been reading and reading until I almost fall asleep lol. I think that it is never ending knowledge for making this soap. I am trying to find out what to use for colours as for the bar and for swirling I have read about lakes, Iron oxides, ultramarines what is best and what does everyone perfer to use. how much would I use to do buy powder or liquid?

I also am wanting to find a cheap wood mold. Now I have also seen the metal ones do you perfer the wood over the metal?

has anybody ordered this item it sure looks like a good buy "swirling with the best"

what are if any differrence between all palm waxes are there different ones like soy and paraffin?

1343 is the wax that you use for pillars do you also use that for your tarts if you make those. I would love to make a hurricane they are so nice not sure if I am up to that want to try someday.

ya know I was not thinking I do have the ecosoy pb also would you use that I am not sure if i should just make it out of Palm. I have paraffin molted but just hate it...

so I am better off with palm wax right

okay so with soy being a softer wax how big would you go 3X3 or small or bigger with a pillar and would you add anything to keep stronger I use cb advanced:confused:

I totally agree with new orleans I only use soy where I am here it is cheaper and also so much nicer looking smooth and great to work with. Alot of people perfer soy for the burning. Triple scented is a ploy and please dont add 3oz to your one pound that would be far too much the limit would be 1.5oz but 1oz per pound is a good start if you want to go up do so. You will have to put alot of money out first to test test test test. happy candle making

Yes this is a great idea. I just ordered my labels and they have the top covered just like those ones I have not got them as of yet but I thought that they would be good idea although I do have shrink ones but I like this better

I found coconut oil at my Bulk Barn can I use this it is alittle bit high in price but I cant find it anywhere else.

Your right read listen and watch.My husband says I sleep live and breath this stuff. I have been reading every thing on here over and over I know it will be needed and who don't need more brain food lol.

okay update I have tried the 775 wicks and to my surprise I love them better what a change in everyway I love the burn. I will be using these from now on
