I smelled egg nog pound cake in a candle and loved it.I have been searching for it,has any one know where to find it.Maybe I can mix it.Thank you for your help.

in my 3 '' containers I use htp 93,after a few hours the hang ups are gone and the burn is good,steady ,no flicking,no smoke and don't need to trim wick very often,even the power burn is good except the jar gets a little hot.Good luck ,hang in there you will find your wick.

I liked the lx wicks but after a month of cure,they smoked the jar rim even with short trims.I liked the steady flame too.Now I find after a weeks cure htp wicks burn great with little to no mushrooming and a clean jar with great scent after 2 years of testing.I tried htp wicks in the past and hated them but I use a 3 inch jar now and there ya go.I think the worst wick I used was eco wicks in 4627 wax,

If you only poured a 1/2 jar of wax of less,it will do that with zincs.

I just got a e mail from thompson candles and they are all paraffin but of course that is all it said.

yeah,I thought of that and came to the same answer as you.the scents just smell so rich and yummy,I want that type of cold scent.

yeah,you see at the drug stores,magic mart and prim shops.thomas candle company and they make candle tarts in cubes ,placed in bags.

I would like to know what wax this company uses.I have never tried there tarts but they smell so yummy in the bag.I figure it is a paraffin blend.I looked on the site but could not find any info on it. Thank you!

I get this question and want to be honest in my answer. " Is this lye soap" I use sfic soap base. My answer is "well lye soap is made with sodium hydroxide and natural oils and butters .So is mine.Is this  right or wrong?

No one ever asks is this cold processed,it is always is this lye soap?What do you think? Thank you.

I have been wanting to test this wax.How about heat gun to tops that grow,will that fix the problem? What wick do you think to start with in a jj ,one that are tapered slightly.I have lx-eco-rrd -htp -zincs all sizes.thank you

Thanks,I did let it sit a day or more then the sides of the mold just lifted right off and the soap came out beautifully.This was my first time using it.I do love it.

I was so excited to get this soap loaf mold,I made my soap and it is cooled and I can't get it apart to get my soap out.I have took the screws out-no problem -I have tried to slide the ends out of the grooves and nothing will come apart.Has any one used this thing to give me some instructions. Thanks a bunch.

Maybe you can"t smell right now known as candle nose? Just a thought.

Thanks for the reply.I know what you are saying and agree.I was searching for a diffrent wick to try and ended up at adkin & pearce wicks and thats what the was stated in the aroma -lite wick listing.I was just wondering.I have the scent I like but thought maybe a different wick will burn better,you know how it is,always greener pastures. LOL I thought what is this wick,I have never heard of it before.I did do a search here but I thought maybe there would be a up date on the subject.
