Your probably right but I think it would increase sales. Donna do you think I can keep using my wax to makes these samples?
-
Yeah I was thinking about making tarts to give out as samples but am using IGI6006 and was told I would need another type of wax to do so. I wanted to use something like a tart but using my same wax to make it cheaper.
-
No not a scammer but thanks for the heads up. I was just trying to give out some samples so people could smell it without having to give out a candle. I saw another company offers scent chips but dont know if those are tarts or what they are talking about.
-
For candles sorry about that. I guess what Im asking is sending out scent samples without having to take the whole candle. Have any ideas?

How do I go about getting sample packets for the scents you are gonna offer. Can you please help???

:laugh2:Sorry about the frost I meant more like a swirl effect. When I hit the top with the heat gun it gives me like a color swirl look but if I do it from the side it all blends in...

I am filling it to the neck not all the way up probably the first line of the neck. I was worried about the FO not being as strong if I do it this way. Its just alot smoother on top when I heat it from the sides but like I said it melts more of the wax...
-
Ok I have asked about my problem before but have one more question. Im using IGI6006 and get a small sink hole so I am using a heat gun now to correct the isue. Im using a 9oz hex jar. My question is when using the heatgun I notice if I heat the side of the jar I get a smoother top then when I just go over the top with the heat gun I get frost. The only problem is I melt alot more when I do the side of the jar. Will this affect my outcome of the candle If I am melting more of it down?

I am trying to find a good blackcherry FO using IGI6006. I was going to order BCN blackcherry but read someone using this wax had a problem with it. Anybody using this wax have any good recommendations on a good strong blackcherry.

I got the same probelm with that FO they sent a paper with the order that says you may have to run it under hot water not boiling water. Check you box it should have instructions with it..

Just a quick question companies that everybody buys from for example lone star or BCS. I assume these companies dont make there own scents they just buy from the big guys like Agilex or Apline and just place in a container and put there label. If I am wrong please correct me or do these companies mix some of these FOs and use there label? Just Curious

Yeah I guess you are right. Im just leaving them in the oven for now it gives me a little dip but not to bad. Sorry about the wrong section I think I was frustrated and didnt look around enough before I posted.
