  1. Mini- Yeah it's supposed to look like that with the crystalization. (is that how you spell that?)

Stella- So what do you use to stick your wicks to the bottom for testers?? Thanks for the silicone tip. Also, I read somewhere that some people poke relief holes in their GG and do a repour to prevent air trapping...do you do this?

  2. Ok, I got my GG from Candlescience yesterday and I poured it...I think the pattern turned out pretty good. Poured hot and covered with a box. I just left the jar on the hot cookie sheet I used to prewarm the jar. The scent is Apple Blossom. I am trying a double wick CSN 7 since that was what was recommended in the layered glass glow tutorial. I guess we will start there. It's a 4 inch wide 10 oz apothecary jar. One problem I had was that I used an ez wick setter with my wicks, had wick stickums on them and when I poured the wicks came loose. What I ended up doing is just pulling them out and inserting after they cooled. Any ideas for getting the wick to better stick in the jars?? Did I do something wrong?

Anyway, it is beautiful and I really like this wax so far...now for wicking it. :P

  3. None of the above.

I think I would go with two BUT your name should be MUCH bigger.

I mean, you are advertising your name, NOT a flower or scribble.

Well, I am not sure how to make the logo larger due to the height of the banner...does that make sense? It would be stretched out side to side to make it bigger because it already goes top to bottom pretty much. I will see what I can do. Thanks for all of your opinions.

  4. Lol, when I first saw the picture I thought it was going to be some sort of gadget that analyzes the make up of the FO...so you can see if the formula changes...maybe that will be next. Lol.

  5. As far as candles...try to decide what TYPE you want to do...containers, pillars etc. You can start there and I would say really get to know one type before moving on to the next. When you have a question, just use the search tool first because there are a lot of answers to your questions in there. There are so many different types of waxes, wicks, etc. I am still a newbie, but I have learned so much on here. Then you might have an idea of what type of wax you want to use...soy, parrafin, palm, paraffin mixed with soy. I would find out where your closest wax supplier is near you and see what types of wax they have to offer then decide. Shipping can be as much as the wax sometimes!! You can save a bundle if you get your wax closer to home. Good luck.

  6. Ok, here are some new logos to see. I don't do these myself so I get her some feedback and this is what she came up with. New votes? Opinions? Colors are easy to change too if there is one you like with a different color in mind. I just wasn't too fond of the greens or oranges last time. Thanks.
