  1. Thanks, I didn't know that. I have 2 candle making books but neither one mentions vybar. Do you use it the same way as stearin?
  2. I'm an old soapmaker trying candles for the first time using a bunch of supplies given to me by a friend. She's not available now to answer my questions so here goes.... I have tons of parafin wax, a huge bag of these waxy balls, tons of vybar, tons of color chips, tons of wicks, lots of containers, plastic molds, metal molds, latex molds, and different sizes of wicks and metal thingys. I also have something called releasant and wax crystals but I have no stearin. I do have lots of coconut oil for making soap so my question is can I substitute the hardened coconut oil for stearin? Is this a stupid question? Thanks for your help. Pam:confused:
