Hello, I am not a regular on your forum so I hope I am not offending anyone by asking this, but I am trying to find where I can purchase these soaps. I was told there is a website but I have been unable to find them.
These would be a surprise gift for a very special occassion for someone who has been raving about these soap ever since she saw them here. I don't make soap or candles or anything else for that matter so the instructions would not help me.
Anyone know where I can find them? Thanks for any help candletech members.
I apologize in advance if I am out of line just posting to ask this question.

I googled her and came up with this link

Those are great looking soaps, and darn nice pics too !
I just have issues with using beer for something other than drinking. I consider that alcohol abuse. But, every now and then someone leaves some off-the-wall beer that I don't drink. I suppose I could use that and not feel guilty.Hubby and I have a moment of silence for the beer each time I use a bottle for soap.
I think I'm going to start buying cheap beer that we don't like so we won't cry every time

LOL Glad everything turned out alright. I've had a few ricers too. I mark it on the bottle so I won,t forget which ones did it.
I didn't much like the smell OOB anyway, so I'll probably just not bother buying that FO again LOL It was supposed to be baby powder but it stunk if you ask me :lipsrseal

Keep notes, and more notes. Everything you do, write it down. This way you can look back and see what you did if something goes wrong and it will be easier to narrow it down. It's also handy so when you finally come up with that perfect recipe, you'll have it to replicate again

Well that was the fastest cook I've ever seen !
It appears to be ok, the color morphed something crazy ! Started out blue, turned a hideous red/orange and now it's a deep purple.
Whatever... I'm just happy it turned out ok.

So I decide to do a real small batch tonight to try out these adorable dragon fly and lady bugs molds I picked up this morning.
Melted the oils, had the lye water ready, add it all together and instant ricing. I tried stick blending the bejesus out of it and it still looked horrible.
I finally just tossed it all in the crock pot and hoped for the best. Now it looks like it's separating in the crock pot.
Please tell me that sooner or later this will end up looking like something even close to normal ?
