  1. Just finished talking with Krystal. They had a delivery problem last week and the wax should arrive today. The reason why they are not listing the GF brand waxes on their site is that even though they had "out of stock" next to the wax, people were ordering it anyway. The way it sounds is that they will re list the brand when it arrives sometime today. Better late than never......
  2. Do any of you know what is going on with Candles and Supplies? Last Monday I ordered some 464 from them (they did have the lowest prices) and received an email from Krystal stating that they were out of stock and was expecting more one Wednesday. Would I like to change wax type or wait until Wednesday for the new shipment. I told her I really wanted the 464 and would wait. It's now Saturday and I haven't received any contact regarding my order so I decide to go on Candles and Supplies site and low and behold, there are no Golden Brand waxes listed on their natural wax page. I hope they didn't discontinue this line from their store. It kind of scares me that they took all GB waxes off the page. I also hope, if this is the case, that they wouldn't leave me hanging here waiting for them to send me wax they don't even carry anymore. I have a week left to finish this fundraiser of mine and I need the wax........
  3. I guess this was either a dumb question or I stumped the whole lot of you.
  4. I use GB 464 and have the same thing. I don't think it's all that bad since I am getting a complete burn. I believe it's just the additive in the soy that helps it adhere to the container.
  5. For those of you that use 464 do you do anything with it for the hotter months of the year? It does have such a low melt point and I wonder how container candles hold up being shipped in the hotter months. Also if I make tarts (melts) out of 464, won't they have a greater chance of deforming during shipping? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Eric
  6. Thanks for the nice comments. Actually, I could have picked any corner of any flat surface in my house and it would have worked. My wife does all the decorating so I didn't have to worry about the background at all, I just stuck my candles on the grandma cupboard and took the picture. Did anyone notice I spelled Caramel wrong?
  7. Greetings all: I've been making candles off and on for quite a few years now mainly for myself and family. I decided to take it a step further and start trying to sell some of them. I'm doing a small fundraiser at school and am trying to get a picture made up to be used in the brochure. Any comments would be helpful, thanks.
