The reason i ask is ive been reading on the internet and other places that dpg may be toxic when burned anyone else heard anything about this?

The reason i ask is because i saw a reciepe for crockpot liquid soap and it calls for potassium choloride.The lady says that when you add the pottasium chloride to the distilled water in the crock pot it forms pottasium hydroxide while the soap is cooking.Ever heard of this? Thanks:)

Is it possible to make potassium hydoxide by mixing potassium chloride and distilled water? I read somewhere that it was but dont remember where.

Im having trouble with my candle flame getting weak and dying out . It doesnt drown out it just goes out.Im using eco soya pb making a 3 inch pillar.Im using scents from candle cocoon at 3%with a lx 20 wick.Ive tried wicking up and it doesnt help any. It burns maybe and hour and then dies out.

Whats the best way to store candle scent? I have an old fridge i was thinking of using because its cold and dark but is a fridge too cold?

The melt pool is only about a 1/16 inch deep and the wick gets too long quickly.I have no pic sorry

Would your wick be too big or too small if you have a shallow melt pool and the wick gets too long after only about 2 hours of burning? I get a full melt pool buts it shallow and there is no cracks or voids in the candle.Any ideas?
