I totally agree with everyone. you did everything that you should have. I've had situations like this where people think they can get one over on you. I couldn't have done it any better myself. Don't let her bother you, she's sounds like another one of those scammers that try to get free products basically. Over the years, there's been quite a few situations posted on here regarding similar things. Good luck with everything.

I do both, I have stock made for craft shows and online orders, then I will make new when I get a wholesale order in for ones I don't have in stock.

LOL I hear ya! Those minimums would put a hurtin on my pocket that's for sure! But it's nice to know what I would be dealing with if the day ever came Iwould need something like that.

I had applied for free samples also, and a sales rep called to verify my address last night. We'll see if I get any.

she sent me an email after I replied back to the feedback that my address is not confirmed with paypal. Uh, yeah it is, both my home and my business. I basically sent her a message back telling her that I'm sorry it has escalted to this point and all I really wanted was the molds. I wished her well and that was that. Also what's funny is she's still selling stuff and for some reason other people are receiving items they bought from her. They are leaving feed back everyday, tell me that's not odd.

yep, this is the same one. Candlemandiaembeds. I tried to file a complaint through ebay and they sent me straight to paypal to file a complaint. I almost think it's not worth the hassle anymore. I got my money back, I have a negative remark, but oh well. One is not going to make or break me right? I'm just upset that she left a neg against me, and I'm the customer! I did everything I was supposed to do. The wrong doing is on her end! BAD customer service if you ask me.

Ok now I'm really ticked off. This candlemania person that screwed me on the molds, has now left a childish remark on my ebay. I left her a negative comment because I have a right to. I did everything I was supposed to as far as paying for the molds right away (like immeaditely) and everything. Now because of something that has happened to her family, I get screwed out of it not only by not getting what I paid for, but she's leaving neg. feed back on my ebay??? How in the hell does this make sense?? Here's what she put.

Um...excuse me?? First of all I'm not a 'NEWBIE', second where does she get off stating I leave negatives (plural meaning more than one)? This is the first time I've left a negative for anyone ever on ebay AND it's my first neg that I didn't even deserve!!! GGRRRRRR I am so mad! Plus where does it say in the 'policies and procedures' that if your daughter gets sick and you have to shut down your business and I get screwed in the matter I can't bitch about it? It's supposed to be okay right? Am I over reacting?

Lightening~ if you haven't already I would file a complaint with paypal in the resolution center. I did this morning and she refunded my money this afternoon. I kind of feel bad because she said she's basically been living at the hospital with her daughter and gets on the internet to check email there. But at the same time I didn't ask for a refund, I just wanted the molds. That's all. She refunded it anyway without me asking. So maybe you might wanna try that??? Good luck!!

I used the name of a historic creek in the area "Hay Creek", something that is familiar to everyone in the area.

You can make your own mold with mold max 20 or mold max 30. It is as easy as baking a cake. If the molds were pink or blue, this is the stuff they are using, anyway. Get it from www.smoothon.com cost less too. I have some simple instructions on my mold page in my candle making instructions. Ok, it is somewhere on the site and smoothon has instructions to, if I am not mistaken.

Thanks Rebecca, yeah I purchased these wayyy before all this happened. I bought them on March 22 or something. Then after a week went by she finally replied back to saying her daughter had 2 surgeries or something. I filed a complaint with paypal this morning.

edited to say I just sent her a very long email on ebay basically saying that if she doesn't give me a straight foward answer as to when she is shipping my molds I am reporting her. I'm sorry but that's pretty lousy.

Well I'm trying to give this lady the benefit of the doubt thinking okay, she had a family emergency, but it doesn't take but 10 seconds to mail out a package. It was candlemaniaembeds. I figured she is a reputable person, she doesn't really have any negative marks against her on ebay that I can see and I really don't want to report her yet. I'm not sure what to do.

oh wow that stinks. I am going through a same situation. I bought molds off ebay from someone and it was back in march and still haven't received them. I keep emailing the lady, but she keeps giving me the run around about her daughters problems and her business has suffered. I about ready to report her. For some reason it seems like she's dodging the initial question. I just want my molds that I paid for, that is all I am asking. So we'll see what happens.

I use 1 of the oak tv folding tables as well. They don't take up too much room in your space and in your vehicle either.

I just have to say that I would get a least half up front, non refundable. I got burned almost 2 years ago on a deal like this. A girl from a local deli's mom was getting married and she wanted 100 cinnamon scented red and white votives plus 100lbs of cinnamon scented potpourri. I gave them a huge discount, but stupid me thinking they were honest people let them have the product first and then give me payment. Well guess what? Almost 2 years later they still owe me over 200 dollars. Never again will I make a mistake like that. Sorry to say that no matter who it is, you have to think of yourself first in those situations. Now it's a strict policy.

Edited to add that I had my candles in this deli on consignment. I don't anymore, I pulled everything out about 6months ago. Just be careful.
