  1. Here is the recipe - directions

Mix together 2 Cups baking soda, 1 Cup citric acid, and 4 tablespoons fragrance oil. After mixing spread onto wax paper to dry out - let dry several hours. When dry package it in small cello bags or a jar. Ic ann it Sink Freshener.

Put these instuctions on the package...

You fill your sink 1/2 full of hot water and add 2-4 TBSP. Scent permeates around the room and freshens and cleans your sink. When the water's cool drain it and wipe it down with the draining water and I like to give it a quick rinse after.

Let me know if you need any more help. I use apple pie and blueberry muffin for the scent.. but you can use any type you want.

  2. I just started making these too. I scented some and left the others "plain" I put pine cones on the top and I sell them for .75 each. I figured they were cheap to make and they do sell good. I put them in a baggie - and tie it up with raffia and you are done. Great way to use up old wax and free pine cones from the yard!

  3. I say tarts.. but I make all kinds. I make the standard ones then I make lots of shapes using choc molds. I will make them and add them to a bag and sell them that way or make a bunch of differnt ones and let people pick and choose what they want. I sell lots this way. The clamshells just dont sell that great for me.

  4. I think they look GREAT! Very nice presentation. Do you just wrap them with saran type wrap? or what do you use? I went to a class and she used the saran wrap and I have good luck with that. But just curious what else to use.

  5. I use chocolate molds for my melt and pour. I make the smaller ones and then bag them up together or even put them into a basket, plate or anything that looks nice. I sell a ton of them! I have made the clamshells too.. but only sold a few.. but that is one thing that is new to my line.

  6. I found kinda of a new idea. People are making clothes pins look prim and old. Or they are dipping them in scented wax - and tying a ribbin on them and selling them. I have also done them where you just soak them in candle/soap scent and then tie them with a ribbon. That is an idea too.

I just started making firestarters, dipped bears, and some sink freshener. I have recipes for those if you are interested please let me know.
