  1. I use 1.5 X 3 labels made from my primera but I'm sure online has that size, I have used kraft and white and now use the water resistant ones on them. I had problems labeling the lids as people would take the lid off to smell them and then put a different lid on and get them all goofed up especially in wholesale acct's where the people don't really have time to play musical lids, I liked the way it looked on the lids as well. I hope you find a solution they aren't the easiest jar to label that is for sure.

  2. Maybe if you talked to Tammy at Elements she will bring it in for you if you are purchasing that amt. I know I sure would and then you know it will be the same one Rhonda had. I would definitely talk to Tammy she is a very nice and reasonable person.

I had got this from Flickers but it is not on the Elements site..does anyone know of another supplier that carries this fragrance and will work in straight soy? I am going to need 16-38 lbs of this in a few months for a wedding I am doing....
  3. Well my new favorites are 3 from Moonworks Collection (Rhonda from the old Flickers new store) My very favorite is earthen Oak, and then Bay and Citris and I love her sun and earth it has lots of orange in it with some spicy/earthy notes. I also have to have tranquil sleep and chamomile pear from Lezlee at simple soothings and for candles Sweet Orange Chile Pepper, Antique Lilac, Carrot cake, Merlins forest, Cozy home, Artic Air. I know there are tons more I am missing but my mind has gone completely blank by now.

  4. yes I think I will try it another day and mixing it with some rose would be wonderful. Have you tried the fig forest?? If so what % do you use I tried it with 1 oz. ppo and think I could go down a bit with this one as well. Thanks for the help I sure appreciate it alot.

Its a strong oil even in soy. I cut it with rose to make a honeysuckle rose candles and soap.

You might try testing it on another day while you give your nose a break. If it still has a fuel smell you can try to cut back the oil or try mixing it with another complimentary oil.

I happen to love this oil and its a great seller for me but I am careful not to use a lot in any application. It would give me a headache.

  5. I am testing this in soy and I used 1 oz. ppo and it smells kinda fuely to me I know that's not a word but I wonder if I may have used too much and need to go down a touch. I use 100% soy wax. I am loving the lime and violet and the sex on the beach in my wax and am trying out a few others.

  6. there was a discussion on one of my groups for this very thing and I think the person somehow made them using a pice of pvc

type pipe, I think they greased it up really well to make it but don't quote me on that and used bulk wicking to wick it. I know I have heard of someone making them but don't know who. maybe this will jog someones memory.

  7. I'm thinking about approaching local business with a flyer and a sample outlining corporate / employee gifts etc. Has anyone had any experience in this arena and if so could you share some of your ideas. I am thinking candles maybe a case price for employee gifts / incentives etc then some different priced baskets / gifts. If anyone has had success with this I would love to hear from you on what type of businesses you approached and how you handled it and what types of things they ordered. TIA,

  8. what software do you print from for your labels, I use printshop 22 and I have went in and made a label that is just a titch too big such as 2.65 x 2.65 and then printed it to help it go all the way to the edge but also the settings that come up when you hit print also can be adjusted to make it print further up or down or left or right etc. and that can be trial and error for sure. I print my 2.5 rounds nice though with full coverage from printshop 22 with no problems.

    Hi All,

I actually own the LX800 and I haven't experienced too many problems with it. I usually print 2" circular labels and 2x2 squares perfectly. Right now, I have a customer that wants a 2.5" circular label that I'm struggling with.

I personally feel the amount of money we have spent on these machines, the company should be able to offer more precise information on all labels especially the ones they carry.

  9. I have an primera 810 but I might can help anyone if they are similar. I love mine. I use printshop 22 for my labels and don't have any problems at all. The smallest label I make is 2 X 1 and they print fine. I didn't like their software that came with it and couldn't help with that but I might can help with printshop 22.

DH came home from work, said that some guys were laughing over Limbaugh saying on his show he wanted a great gardenia scented candle. So DH tells me I should send him one. I looked at his website, and yes--he is looking for one. I would never bother but I saw this post the same day and it made me think of that.
  13. Hi I have a good customer that needs some gardenia candles but she needs a great one, she has tried some others and to her they are not true, she is a good customer so I would like to help her out if anyone has a 'favorite" gardenia for soy please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.
