I have decided to close my retail store. I am selling everything but the plumbing, so if you are in the Denton/Dallas/Ft.Worth area, contact me and you can come see what we have.
Supplies, Wicks, Containers, Fragrances, Fixtures, ETC.
I want to try it this way before posting items on the classifieds. Hopefully, I will unload alot of stuff beforehand.
Sharon, I sent you a PM... First off I'm sorry to hear this. You really have a great store in a top location. It will be a great loss for Denton.
I sent you a PM

Here is one that has 10 equal parts
Those are what I'm looking for... I hope someone does a co-op for these.

I just ordered 3 pounds and shipping was only $7.15 to Texas. I did choose the 4th option which is UPS Ground...

Lonestar had some about 6 mos. ago.

I know moon glow candles sells the scented beads, as well as a few others. Google "soy drops"
-
As of right now I would still buy from him. Most of the FO's I have bought are working out. I do not care for them OOB, but in wax the smell better, much better with no strange fuelish/chemical smell.
I have tested in KY para soy and a palm/soy combo.

Thank you. I'm getting ready to try olive oil.

I love chunks. For the holidays, i want to try making a fruit cake using embeds for the chunks.

I have followed the instructions from BCS site and I'm not happy with the results I'm getting. Do you all add dpg at a 50/50 ratio? I've tried cutting back on the water and incerasing the Fo's. I did get better results but now it has me wondering about safety issues.
When making liquid simmering oils, what is the best base oil to use? Everything I have bought is oily. I have googled this topic and it says to use veg. oil then add fragrance. The veg oil when hot it has a yucky smell, much stronger than the fragrance. I'm also having problems with the oil and FO seperating.
please can someone help me?

you can dry orange peels in the oven or use a dehydrator. I have better luck in a dehydrator, I will forget about them in oven and end up with burnt orange peels. that is all you have to do.
If you dont want to mess with drying, go to san francisco herb co. and buy dried orange peel ribbons or dices (dices are called the california cut.)
that's it.

It would go well with tuscany.

I thought the owners of JBn and Gl were family. I would try greenleaf.

all oranges and orange peels need to be dried. If not, you will get mold.
range prices have been high for the past 2 years, and may not be cost effective to make your own. about half of my potpourri ingredients come from lebermuth. If you are needing just a pound or two, the best place to order would be sfherb.com.

Try your local Dollar tree store.

Make sink fresheners too. That's what I do with questionable FOs.
I love making sink fresheners. I also use the same formula for my carpet fresh and place a tsp. in a tea bag to use in the car.

I'm not defending KY; I don't feel that's necessary; KY's reputation speaks for itself. I'm just stating my opinion of this supplier based on my personal experience.
Everyone is different ... there are some that feel very strongly about upfront shipping ... so much, that without it, the sale could be lost. And based on that, I agree, that from a supplier's perspective, it would be wise to update the website.
Personally, when it comes to this supplier, it's not an important feature to me. Yes, it would be nice, but not necessary. I'm quite happy with KY's website as it is ... but that's just me.
I have to agree with candlebuddy. I have ordered from several suppliers from the North and ended up paying anywhere from $8.00 to $14.00 more than what their cart said. That did not include a stupid $5.00 rush fee.
I always call Vicky with my orders and her shipping is only what UPS charges. I have never paid a rush fee and 99% of the time my oils and wax ship the same day.
If you want to try her products, just call her. She will give a pretty darn close estimate.

I got mine. I placed my order over the phone on Monday got them friday. Excellent customer service and the smell great OOB. I have not had time to test yet and won't untill after July 20. I have 3 birthdays, Fathers day and 1 out of state wedding. If I get time to do a small batch, I will post the results.

lol...here ya go, check these novelty fragrances out!
They have a Skunk Oil. That would have to be the nasty. I would not pour that one in my house.
-
tayloredconcepts.com has quite a few nasty ones.
you got that one right. Try their "gas" scent, you would swear that Thunderpants was in the house.

I am very satisfied with the suppliers I use now and really am not looking for a new supplier. I am, though, interested in saving money where I can, and those prices are what is getting my attention. So, I am going to order from Mr. Missy, wax and oils, and will post a completely unbiased opinion on what I find. I do not know of the original Missy's, nor have I ever heard anything about them other than just on this post. My opinion will be just that, my opinion, just as honest as I can give it. :smiley2:
I'm also going to give it a shot. I too will post results in my wax, and air freshner bases and will post the results.

I have made that mistake. Mine preformed just fine. I did slightly pull away from the jar when cooled.
-
What a great find. I love all of them and I bet they sell well for you.

If you call the 800 number just wait till the receptionist answers, then ask to be transfered to David. David from GL is now working with his brother at JBN. I have had no problems getting my GL oils from JBN.
