  1. I haven't used them yet but I did get some samples from PaperTube. They are about the same or more than tins but they do have a ready made area where you will not need to order custom and meet minimums and some do have a lining so the product stays in the paper jar and not absorbed by the paper making a mess of your packaging.

  2. Hi Everyone!

I am considering ordering a few samples from Makesy. Any input, favorites etc? My go-to right now is CS but Makesy looks like they have some really interesting blends. Just wondering if anyone uses them regularly. Thanks

  3. Hello Everyone,

I may be getting ahead of myself here but I want to be prepared when it's needed. I'm going to start on Etsy but would also like a website as well. Back in the day, when I was making candles there were so many talented people making websites and I personally have used two of them I found on this site but they no longer are in business. I see most seem to go with Shopify now. So, if that is the way to go, does anyone have any good designers for a bath/body theme? I am not tech savvy at all so doing it myself is out of the question. I saw a few sellers on Etsy who offer templates and a class but I'm looking for all options.  I'm looking for easy for someone like me to be able to sell the products on a safe website. Thanks in advance.

  4. Hello Everyone,

I know I have posted a few new questions in different categories, so please bear with me as I'm back after a long break and where I used to get things no longer exist so hopefully I can get answers/ideas here. I found a couple sellers that you can purchase label templates from on Etsy where you just plug in all your info on Canva and change it to your info/logo etc. My question is, where does everyone get these printed? I will have a scrub, so that one I'd like a waterproof label but the rest of the products don't need a waterproof label.  Thanks in advance

  5. Hello Everyone!

I am back after a loooong break. I was making candles years ago but now I am experimenting with bath and body products. One of the things I remember from candles was looking for the perfect scents and purchasing countless samples until I found "the one", I mean I literally had tubs full of those little bottles! Right now I'm looking for a great coconut that smells like coconut oil smells when you open the jar. I'm not looking for any other fruit and floral to it. Also a great salty, ozone, beachy scent. I'd really love higher end type scents that are not dupes for another companies products. Can anyone lead me to one or a couple of their favorite suppliers. I was on WSP last night and it looked like I would like a few but would love some opinions. Thanks in advance! :)

  6. I think it is a bit powdery myself and a bit light for my taste. When I first opened the bottle I thought it smelled like my Uncle Joe, LOL well the cologne he used to wear. I'm glad you got to smell it without buying it, I have sooooo many ocean scents that were sadly just like this one. Oh well I'll keep trying :)

  7. I had this same problem. I called the click and shop customer service line and they informed me that to print labels from now on I could no longer use Safari and must use only Firefox. It was a compatibility issue. It is kind of a pain to use Firefox because I really don't like it and there are a few more steps to print your labels but at least I'm back to being able to print:)

  8. I fought using zincs for sooooo long because I thought people would freak out seeing a little wire in the wick so I spent 100's of dollars on sample wicks from all over the place. I finally gave in and tried my wax blend with a zinc and have never looked back! It is truly what I consider close to a perfect burn. Now I am currently working on a natural candle and CD's are in the lead for it so far.
